Skool Tagging Overlay

Works on:🎓 Skool

When you visit your Skool community in the browser, Messenger Organizer adds little + buttons next to every member's name. Clicking one is the fastest way to drop a Skool member into your CRM — no copy-paste, no leaving the page.

What gets added on the Skool page

  • A blue + icon next to each member's name in chats, member lists, and post comment threads.
  • A small folder badge on top of every member who is already in your CRM, color-matched to their assigned folder, so you can see your pipeline status at a glance while you scroll.
  • A Message Templates panel that appears at the bottom-right of any Skool DM, so you can drop a saved template into the chat box without leaving Skool.

Step-by-step: Tagging a Skool member

  1. Open your Skool community in Chrome and make sure you're logged into Messenger Organizer.

  2. Find a member

    • Look in any member list, comment thread, or DM. You'll see a small blue + icon next to their name.
  3. Click the +

    • A Messenger Organizer popup opens. Pick:
      • Primary Folder — the main pipeline stage (e.g. "New Members").
      • Other Folders — optional extra folders for cross-listing.
      • Notes — anything you want to remember (call notes, what they bought, what to follow up on).
    • Click Assign. The popup will say "folder is syncing with cloud..." — once it's done, the popup closes.
  4. Confirm the badge

    • Refresh the page if needed. A colored badge with the folder name now sits next to the member, and a small chip shows any extra folders.
    • The member also instantly appears in your Skool CRM inside the Messenger Organizer dashboard.

Sending a templated DM from Skool

  1. Open a direct conversation with a Skool member.
  2. Click the small Messenger Organizer template icon at the bottom-right of the screen.
  3. Pick the template folder, then the template you want to send.
  4. The text drops into your chatbox with {name} already replaced. Hit send.

Tips

  • Folder colors carry over. Whatever color you set for a folder in Folders is the color of the badge on Skool — that's why a quick scan of the page tells you who's hot and who's cold.
  • Don't see the + icon? Refresh the Skool tab once after installing or upgrading the extension. If it's still missing, log out and back in to Messenger Organizer from the popup.
  • Member already tagged? Click the + again — the popup pre-fills with their current folder/notes so you can update instead of starting over.

Next Steps: See your tagged members in a clean table inside Skool CRM, or visualize them on the Leads Board.
