Add a Lead From a Profile Page

Sometimes a prospect catches your attention while you're scrolling Facebook, Instagram, or browsing a Skool community — before you've ever messaged them. The Add Lead overlay lets you save them to your CRM straight from their profile, with one click, no chat required.

Facebook Messenger Bulk Tagging

Where this works

  • ✅ Facebook profiles (facebook.com/<username>)
  • ✅ Instagram profiles (instagram.com/<username>)
  • ✅ Skool member profiles inside any community

Step-by-step (Facebook)

  1. Open the person's profile by clicking their name anywhere on Facebook.
  2. Look on the left side of the page. Messenger Organizer injects a small panel with folder dropdowns.
  3. Pick a primary folder from the Target Folder dropdown (e.g. "Cold Leads" or "Prospect").
  4. Optionally pick "Other Folders" for cross-listing (e.g. also tag them as "Realtors").
  5. Add a quick note explaining why you saved them — "Saw their post about needing a coach".
  6. Click Add to CRM. The lead appears immediately in your Facebook CRM.

Step-by-step (Instagram)

  1. Open the IG profile.
  2. The Messenger Organizer panel appears on the page — same idea as Facebook.
  3. Pick a folder, add a note, click Add to CRM.
  4. The lead lands in Instagram CRM with a direct link back to their profile and DMs.

Step-by-step (Skool)

  1. Open any Skool community where the member is active (members list, comment thread, or DM).
  2. Click the small blue + icon next to their name.
  3. The popup opens — pick a Primary Folder, Other Folders, and notes, then click Assign.
  4. They appear in Skool CRM.

Bulk-tagging from a chat list (Facebook)

If you want to add 10+ people at once instead of one at a time:

  1. Open facebook.com/messages.
  2. You'll see small checkboxes next to each conversation thread.
  3. Tick the boxes for the leads you want to add.
  4. Click Start bulk assignment at the top of the chat list.
  5. Pick a folder and confirm — every selected lead is dropped into your CRM at once.

Tips

  • Save the note BEFORE you message them. "Found in [Group X]" or "Mentioned struggling with Y" gives future-you the context to write a relevant first message.
  • Use a dedicated folder like "Outbound — Found Manually" to track how many leads come from manual prospecting vs. inbound DMs.
  • Refresh the profile page if the Messenger Organizer panel doesn't appear — Facebook sometimes loads profiles without re-injecting third-party UI.

Next Steps: Once a lead is in your CRM, learn how to drag them through pipeline stages on the Leads Board, or send them a saved Canned Response.
