⚙️ Connect Messenger Organizer to your other tools

Settings - Messenger Organizer

Messenger Organizer becomes much more powerful once it's wired up to Google Sheets, Google Calendar, GoHighLevel, and OpenAI. This tutorial walks you through each connection and what to do once it's wired up.

Where to find Settings

  1. Open the dashboard.
  2. Scroll the left sidebar and click Settings.

You'll see one section per integration. Connect the ones that match the tools you actually use — there's no benefit to connecting everything if you don't use it.

Integration 1: Google Sheets (auto-export leads)

Push every new lead — Facebook, Instagram, or your Facebook group's join answers — into a Google Sheet automatically. Useful if you live in spreadsheets, run email sequences from sheets, or hand off lead lists to a team.

Facebook → Google Sheets

  1. In Settings, find Facebook to Google Sheets.
  2. Click Sign in With Google and authorize the connection.
  3. Paste your Google Sheet Link (the URL of the sheet you want to push to).
  4. Pick the specific worksheet (tab) inside that sheet.
  5. Toggle the automation: "Push every new lead in your Google Sheet".
  6. Optionally restrict it to specific folders (e.g. only push "Hot Leads").

Instagram → Google Sheets

Same flow, separate section in Settings labeled Instagram to Google Sheets.

Facebook Group join answers → Google Sheets

If you run a Facebook group with membership questions:

  1. Find the Group Organizer Google Sheets section.
  2. Connect Google and pick a sheet/tab.
  3. From now on, every member you approve sends their join-question answers (including emails) into the sheet automatically.

This is the fastest way to grow an email list from a Facebook group.

Integration 2: Google Calendar (sync your reminders)

Every follow-up, task, and notification you set inside Messenger Organizer can show up in your daily Google Calendar.

  1. In Settings, find Google Calendar Connection.
  2. Click Sign in With Google.
  3. Pick the calendar you want events to land in.
  4. Toggle the automation on.

From now on, anything you schedule in Messenger Organizer (Follow-Up, Task Manager, Desktop Notification) shows up in your daily agenda.

See Notifications Calendar for the in-app calendar view.

Integration 3: GoHighLevel (push leads to GHL)

If you run sequences and pipelines in GoHighLevel, mirror your Messenger Organizer leads into GHL automatically.

  1. In Settings, find GoHighLevel Connection.
  2. Paste your Go High Level API Key.
  3. Click Connect.
  4. Toggle "Push every new lead in your GHL account" ON.

New Facebook and Instagram leads now create matching contacts in GHL the moment you tag them.

Integration 4: OpenAI (AI replies)

This connection powers the AI Content Generation tool — it drafts personalized replies right inside your live chats.

Where the API key actually lives

The API key itself is entered on the AI Content Generation page (not Settings). The Settings page only has the automation toggle that allows AI to participate in broader workflows.

  1. Get an OpenAI API key from platform.openai.com.
  2. Dashboard → AI Content Generation.
  3. Paste the key, click Update API Key.
  4. Now in Settings → AI Connection, toggle "Make AI enabled Messenger step sequence" ON if you want AI to participate in automated message sequences.

See AI Content Generation for the full reference.

Tips

  • Don't connect every integration. Each connection means one more thing that can break. Start with Google Calendar (the highest-value) and add more only when you actually need them.
  • Test on a single lead first. After connecting Google Sheets, manually tag one fresh lead and confirm it shows up in the sheet within a minute.
  • Re-authorize annually. Google tokens occasionally expire. If a sheet or calendar integration silently stops syncing, revisit Settings and click Sign in With Google again.

You're done! With integrations connected, Messenger Organizer is no longer just a chat tool — it's the front-end of your whole sales stack. For a deeper dive into any one feature, see the Features Overview.
